HotOtc.com - GNAU is doing $12 Mill a year, Forbes article inside

Watch List for Friday 2-5-2010

My new big pick is GNAU

When GNAU first came across my desk, I couldn't believe no one knew about this company.

Here is a company that is doing over $12 Mill a year in sales and trading for just pennies.  This is quite unbelievable and GNAU probably won't stay at these levels for long.

While the economy continues to lag, GNAU's business continues to pick up.  The aftermarket for auto parts is alive and doing well.

If you missed the article in my last email here it is again: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/os-biz-general-automotive-20100112,0,3450509.story

GNAU was recently featured in the Orlando News.

The industry is started to get looked at as Forbest recently did an article on it.

"Cashing in on Clunkers," Forbes makes the argument that "Auto sales are sluggish, but business is brisk for companies selling parts and accessories to keep old cars on the road." The article is available online here.  http://www.forbes.com/2009/11/30/monro-muffler-brake-personal-finance-financial-adviser-network-federal-mogul.html

Auto manufacturers have had a rough go of it in 2009. General Motors, the largest U.S. automaker, went bankrupt. Japanese automakers like Toyota Motors and Honda Motors, which previously seemed invincible, have had to endure slumping sales.  Cash for Clunkers has come and gone.

The reality is that given the weak U.S. economy, folks just aren't buying as many new cars as they do when the economy is good.

But that doesn't mean people are driving less...

Lower auto sales simply mean that more drivers are keeping older cars for longer periods of time in an effort to avoid down payments and monthly bills that accompany the purchase of a new car. Fortunately, there are ways to play this trend.

GNAU could be the opportunity to take advantage of the auto industry . Florida-based General Automotive makes original equipment and aftermarket parts for distributors in the U.S. and internationally.

Here is one off their divisions: http://www.oesource.com

People need to keep that old car functional and that means oil changes, brake service and related maintenance expenses. And the auto parts aftermarket is huge. The U.S. aftermarket for cars and light and heavy trucks is $240 billion and the global aftermarket is $370 billion, according to Forbes.

Here is what the CEO stated in the latest article: "Our first purchase was for $15,000," Valladao said. "This year, we will do $12.5 million [in sales], and I bet we'll double that next year."

GNAU looks like a sleeper on Wall Street, but that could change very quickly.  Start your research on this company fast, and ask yourself where you want to be positioned.

Always do your own research and consult with your own financial professional.
