Are You Getting Read For 2010?
I spent the better part of the morning reflecting on the past year.
And it is hard to think about what has happened in 2009 without
thinking about the year before.
I know in the past two years we have seen a time of wild turmoil in
the financial markets, but it is good to step back and really see
where you have gone.
Things simply haven't been nowhere as bad as they seemed like they
were going to be when this year started.
In fact if you are like me than it has been a good year for me
personally, spiritually, and financially for you. I made some
great friends, grown closer to long term friends and made some coin
in the stock market.
Of course not everything has gone great in this year, but if you
look back now you'll see that in some of these situations you grew
as a person, learned things about yourself, and actually ended up
PROSPERING!
It all boils down to how you manage your emotions, your belief
system, and your mind. It also matters a lot what goals you set.
Probably the most important thing I learned this year is to set
goals and imagine bigger possibilities for yourself.
It is amazing how something you can do now in any day a few years
ago may have seemed like a big deal. You may not even have
imagined it possible. But if you can imagine bigger things for you
in the future than even what you are doing now the possibilities
are endless.
What we all want is to grow.
Thinking about this made me think of a presentation I saw earlier
this year.
It was done by someone I used to see on TV a lot about ten years
ago all of the time. I bought some of his stuff once, liked some
of it, didn't like some of it, but this presentation is great.
I want you to watch it:

Please immediately watch it and think about it. It can change how
you see the world.
I first saw this guy ten years ago and bought one of his tapes. As
a result I wrote down a bunch of goals I wanted to accomplish over
the next ten years.
Almost all of them I accomplished and I wonder if I would have done
these things if I didn't write them down.
I found this goals list last week and there was one goal I never
ended up doing.
So last week I took action to get it done. That goal is to publish
a history book that I wrote about the area I live in. It's been
finished for years and has just been sitting around.
But last week I called a publisher to get the ball rolling on it
and it should be available in the coming year.
Again if I didn't write down this goal and happen to look at my
list last week it may still be sitting around. Now next year other
people will be able to read it and learn from it. It's a way to
reach out to other people in a positive way.
You see you need to set big goals for yourself next year when it
comes to the stock market. I know millions of people lost money in
the stock market over the past two years, but there are people who
actually made money during this time. I know because I did and so
did many of the people who are members of my website.
If you could turn back the clock a year ago I know there are things
you would do differently in the market again if you had a chance.
You don't. But you can make this next year a hugely profitable one
for yourself no matter what the market does if you just set the
goals to do it and commit yourself to them.
Thanks for listening to me and reading my stuff this year. You all
have taught me many many things and I am grateful.
Mike
PS - I'm going to spend the rest of the day planning my own goals
for the stock market in 2010 and as part of that process will be
writing a 2010 stock market money map for you. Will be sending you
a video about it on Weds. Oh, and on January 5th we'll be opening
up spots to the WSW Power Investor service.
